The Village Hall facilities are available for hire for all types of groups or users. This can include:
- One off use for special occasions or events

We can provide a range of facilities depending on the size of room(s) required, and the hall has a kitchen and bar.
As the Hall is a charitable trust we give priority to use by other charitable organisations, events that support the community, sporting and educational use. Special rates may be available - especially if you are just starting up a new group.
The Hall is also frequently used for private parties and celebrations - so please check with us to see if we are free for your event.

The Premises License Operating Schedule and the hire contract cover all aspects of regulated entertainment and entertainment facilities with the exception of Boxing or Wrestling and the provision of late night refreshments, for which a TEN would be required. Sale of alcohol requires an additional agreement and an additional fee is payable. A purpose built bar is installed containing fridge, drinks cooler and a wall mounted water boiler for the provision of hot beverages.

A purpose-built bar facility has been created next to the kitchen. It contains sink unit, bottle cooler, fridge, small freezer and a water boiler for hot beverages allowing tea and coffee making away from the kitchen area. There is also a good supply of glasses.

An energy audit has been undertaken. Energy saving bulbs are in use, the wall cavity has been insulated and fund raising is underway to replace the roof and insulate it to a high standard.

The hall stands on a plot with a 120 feet wide frontage and is 170 feet deep. It has free access to the Village Recreation Ground which is adjacent to the property and contains a full size football pitch.
There is a hardwood sprung floor in the main hall has been refurbished and is excellent for dance and indoor sporting activities.
