This is a brand new timber pavilion with a fabulous view over the tennis courts towards the Cotswold AONB. It is a small but very beautiful log cabin which smells like Christmas and is used for small gatherings and classes.

Directions

The Gotherington Village Hall is located on Malleson Road in Gotherington GL52 9ET. Behind the hall is access to Freeman Field, our village playing field. In the bottom left hand corner we have two community tennis courts. The John Woolley Pavilion can be found facing these tennis courts.

The hire charges for the John Woolley Pavilion are £8.00 per hour for residents and £11.00 for non-residents.

If you go to the Parish Council website http://gotherington.org.uk/tennis-bookings/ you can see a live calendar for the JWP. Please select the session you require then click the Booking Request link to email gotheringtontennisbookings@gmail.com with the details. The booking secretary will email a confirmation with details of how to pay and key collection.

If you would like to do a tennis party the courts can also be booked.

The car park is situated between the Village Hall and Rex Rhodes Building. It has space for 12 cars but on-street parking is also available.

Access to the John Woolley Pavilion is via a tarmac pathway at the left side of the playing field. Once at the JWP there are sensor lights on the veranda to aid access.

We have a disabled ramp access for wheelchairs and prams, plus a disabled toilet.

We have full CCTV installed on our building for your safety.

There is a kitchen area with hot running water to the sink, a kettle and fridge, but no cooking facilities. We have cutlery, crockery and glassware for 20 people.

Activities

The JWP is a small but very beautiful log cabin which smells like Christmas. It is used for small gatherings including family parties, birthday parties, baby showers and christenings. It is also used for small classes such as baby sensory class. If you are looking for something different please contact us to arrange a viewing.

This is a brand new timber pavilion with a fabulous view over the tennis courts towards the Cotswold AONB. Bi-fold doors open onto the covered veranda area with bench seating.

There are two teak tables and 16 teak and rattan chairs available. More chairs are available on request.

We have modern chandelier-type lighting which can be switched independently, plus a standard uplighter for more intimate gatherings.
